Hello

I am a senior majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Computer Science. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, journaling, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and, of course, eating delicious food!

My Story

Growing up in Juarez, Mexico, until I was six years old, Spanish became my first language and shaped my deep appreciation for my culture and community. My experiences have inspired me to pursue a career in medicine, where I aim to serve underserved, Spanish-speaking, and financially low-income communities. In the next 5-10 years, I hope to be in medical school, progressing through residency, and making a meaningful impact in these areas. As part of Collegiate Double T, I’ve had the honor of serving as a High School Liaison and now as Webmaster. As Liaison, I formed strong connections between our collegiate and high school chapters, and as Webmaster, I showcase the incredible work our members do. One of my favorite memories was volunteering at La Clinica, where I heard the powerful stories of migrants and their journeys to build better lives. To our current and incoming members, my advice is simple: get involved and talk to others! This organization is full of go-getters, and the best way to grow is to learn from one another. We’re all in this together! As Mother Teresa beautifully said, “Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”
