Hello
My name is Joshua Cayme, and I’m excited to serve as the Secretary for the Collegiate Double T Health Professions Honor Society for the 2024-2025 academic year. With a B.S. in Kinesiology and minors in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from UTEP, I’m passionate about medicine, leadership, and giving back to our community. Outside of academics, you’ll find me playing tennis, pickleball, or hiking. Let’s make this year one to remember as we work together to grow and make an impact!
My Story
During my time at UTEP, my volunteer and research experiences solidified my passion for healthcare and my goal of serving underserved communities as a physician. Joining Collegiate Double T has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. My favorite memory is volunteering at Medventure for Your Future, where I had the chance to share my love for healthcare with local middle school students.
As Secretary, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside an incredible team, coordinating events and keeping our organization running smoothly. This role has shaped me into a more organized and thoughtful leader. To all members: actively participate, share your ideas, and reach out to us—we’re here to support you every step of the way.
